 Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you’ve all had a lovely, sunny week. I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but I wouldn’t complain if we had a little rain next week — just to cool things down a bit!

It was absolutely wonderful to see so many of you at our annual Sports Day. The children had a brilliant time and threw themselves wholeheartedly into every event — especially the water-based activities! Thank you for coming along and helping to make the day so special with your support and encouragement.

We were also fortunate to welcome a local historian into school this week, who shared his fascinating knowledge and resources about Little Heath’s past. It was lovely to see the children so engaged, making connections between the area’s history and the modern-day Little Heath they know so well.

Looking ahead to next week, just a reminder that our trip to Stanborough Lakes is happening on Monday 20th June. The children will be taking part in a range of exciting water-based activities, including kayaking and paddle-boarding.

A few important details for the day:

  • The coach will leave Little Heath at 9:00am and return in time for the end of the school day at 3:20pm.

  • Your child will need a packed lunch and drink (non-fizzy) from home.

  • Please also ensure your child brings the following items:

    • Closed-toe shoes that can get wet

    • Spare socks

    • Swimsuit/swimming costume (to wear under the supplied wetsuit)

    • Rash vest (if you have one)

    • Complete change of clothes (no jeans, please)

    • Towel

    • Sun cream

We’re really looking forward to what promises to be a fun-filled, active day!

Wishing you all a restful and sunny weekend — see you on Monday for another action-packed week.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
