29/11/19

Good afternoon Year 4! Another great week of learning. I can't believe next week we will be in December! Time is certainly flying.

Highlights of the week:
This week the children have loved learning about how volcanoes erupt. They have even come up with actions and sound effects to represent the different stages of the eruption. They have also been writing letters in English based on Bill's New Frock.

Next week:

Maths:  My group: Problem solving with measure continued.

Miss Russon's group: Gathering data from charts and graphs.

English:  Alternative ending for Bill's New Frock, and features of non chronological reports.

Spellings:

Group 1:

-door

-behind
-child
-wild

Group 2:
-reign

Unfortunately lots of children were disappointed with their score this week so can you please make sure you are practising spellings at home to avoid this.
