 Good Afternoon,

This week we have been focusing on persuasive writing. This week we have continued to read our story - Bill's New Frock which has really made the children question the way some people who look different may be treated. The children have worked hard this week to learn to tell the time. The children can read the time on an analogue clock as well as a digital. Please continue to practise this at home.

Half Term Project

This half term the children are required to make their own fraction or time game. This should be an innovative, engaging game that they have sequenced using their fraction or time knowledge from our maths lessons. Please try to make the game no bigger than an A3 sheet as space is limited in the classroom. If the children prefer, they can make it an interactive game.

Please ensure the children have solved their own problems before putting them into the game.

This project is due in from Monday 16th May 2022.

Have Fun!

 Good Afternoon and Welcome Back,

This week we have been focusing on persuasive writing. We have started to write a persuasive letter to Mrs Custis addressing why we should no longer have a school uniform. The children have thought of very imaginative for and against arguments. In maths, we have been continuing our learning on fractions. The children have started to solve problems in the context of measures. This has been challenging but they have all been very perseverant.

A massive congratulations to all the children in Yr 3, 4 and 5 who were outstanding in our performances this week. Year 4 have certainly learnt some interesting persuasive techniques.
