Good Afternoon Year 4,

Congratulations to all the children who participated in the Sports Day, it was a fantastic event. Thank you to all the parents who came to support the children, I hope you had a lovely day! This week we have been learning about area and perimeter. The children have worked hard to find efficient methods to solve perimeter problems. Well done to all the children who completed their multiplication check this week. You have all worked extremely hard to learn your times tables.

Good afternoon Year 4,

Great job on the inventions this week, please remind to ask the children all about them and ask them lots of questions. The children had great fun creating these inventions. In Maths this week we have focused on translating shapes. This has helped us brush up on our skills of using our left and rights. This also helped us in Computing.

Good afternoon,

Welcome back! An exciting start back to our last half term! We have been looking at inventions by Wallace and Gromit and trying our best to explain how these work (when they do). We have started to think about our own inventions and what makes them handy for us in our everyday lives. In Maths this week we have been learning about coordinates. This has helped us to locate different places on a map and give directions from one point to another.
