Good Afternoon Everybody.

I am glad we are all back and have had a fantastic start to the second half term.

Teams

This week in class I have taught the class how to use Microsoft Teams - this is an online learning platform. The children have been given their own emails and passwords to log onto Teams. We will be using this platform should we need to work from home as per the guidance given by the DfE.

You should have been sent a step-by-step guide how on how to use Microsoft Teams and we will be producing a video showing you exactly how to navigate the program which will be on our blog.

In class we will continue to practise using Teams so that we are able to easily use the programme.

Next week

Maths - We will continue to solve word problems using mixed operations and moving onto multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100.

English - Next week, we are going to be starting to write our own myth. We are going to look at what makes a good myth and why. We will also begin to start creating our own setting.

Home learning project

Anglo Saxon Settlements.

This half term I would like you to build a 3D model of an Anglo Saxon Settlement. You can be as creative as you like but it should be based on the set up of a real life Anglo Saxon village.
When you  return, you will need to be able to speak about your settlement and discuss the different parts of the village.
The deadline for this project is 11th Decemeber 2020

Please ensure you use mathletics and times table rockstars to support you with your times tables. Continue to read your books and use the reading stems to answer questions about the text.
