Good Afternoon Year 4,
Another successful week. We have mastered dividing and multiplying by 10 and 100 and are able to convert tenths and hundredths to fractions.
Teams
I have set a task on Microsoft Teams for the children to complete. If you have any trouble on Teams please email me with a screenshot of the issue so we can help you as quickly as possible. I am expecting ALL children to complete this assignment.
Also, please do not feel you have to return the work on a Word document. As long as it comes back to me via teams it can be in a different formats. For example, if you have issues with other people needing the laptop/tablet or you do not have Word etc., as long as you view the assignment and documents on Teams so you understand the task, your child can then complete the work on paper and return the work by taking a picture and uploading that to the Teams Assignment.
Next week
Maths - Converting measures.
English - We will be finishing off our myth and writing a poem based on a legend.
Science - We will be learning and investigating pitch.
Geography - To explore what happens when a volcano erupts.
Art - We will continue to focus on using watercolours to create different textures.
RE- Hinduism - To understand each Hindu home will have a Shrine. To understand the importance of a Puja plate and the different items found on it.
