Good Afternoon Year 4,
Another great week in school. We have been learning to tell the time and have shown fantastic resilience in our learning.
Next week, Wednesday 12th May 2021, is our trip to the Mariner's Base. Please read the letter carefully and ensure all the children have the equipment needed.
The children will need two full sets of spare clothing including underwear and towels. The children will need an old pair of trainers including an extra pair if the children have water shoes, they may also bring these. A sunhat may also be needed dependant on the weather.
Year 6 have visited already and have expressed how much they enjoyed the day.
PE - Please remember to bring in your PE Kit for every lesson.
Monday - 30 mins (trainers only)
Tuesday - 1hr (full PE kit)
Wednesday - 1hr (full PE kit)
Next week
Maths - Next week we will be focussing on Roman Numerals.
English - Next week we will be writing stories with a theme.
Science - In science next week we will be making electrical circuits with switches.
Geography - Next week we will be learning about different animals that live in the rainforest.
Computing - Next week we will be continuing to use Turtle Academy to write algorithms.
RE - We will be writing a Parable.
Art - This week we are going to continue to develop our rainforests using a variety of tools.
Please ensure you practice your times table rockstars at home at least 3 times a week. Continue to read your books and use the reading stems to answer questions about the text. On TEAMs I have provided a task on a website called Nearpod. This is available for the children to access all week.
