Good Afternoon Everybody,
We have had an enjoyable week this week focussing on complex sentences and Roman numerals. The children have decoded hidden messages and used their logic to solve difficult puzzles in Maths. In English, we have worked hard to understand better how to extend simple sentences. The children will be writing a story next week with a theme. They read a range of different stories and identified the theme in these. When you read some stories at home please discuss what the children think the theme of the story is.
Half Term Project
This half term the children are required to make their own fraction or time game. This should be an innovative, engaging game that they have sequenced using their fraction or time knowledge from our maths lessons. Please try to make the game no bigger than an A3 sheet as space is limited in the classroom. If the children prefer, they can make it an interactive game.
Please ensure the children have solved their own problems before putting them into the game.
This project is due in from Monday 16th May 2022.

Science - To use switches and recognise their uses.
Computing - Turtle academy - programming shapes
RE - Understand the importance of the Psalms
PE - Wednesday and Thursday (Normal again)
