 Good Afternoon, 

England has sun! It is very exciting for us all however we must also be sensible in this weather therefore please can you ensure the children have water bottles and sun hats. The children had lots of fun at the Potters Bar Museum and are hopeful to return. They also enjoyed watching the Year 6 children beat the teachers in Rounders. 

Next week the school are relaxing their uniform policy because of the warm weather. Please be advised the children are not to wear open-toed shoes.

Good Afternoon, 

A lovely way to end the week with The Apprentice. The children in Year 6 have worked very hard and sold lots! This week the children have written some beautiful poems about journeys. 

A reminder that we do need the children to bring in a cereal box and some foil next week for their DT project. 

We will be visiting Potters Bar museum next week on Thursday 14th July. We will be walking to and from the museum. 

Next week we will have our transition day. The children will be meeting their new teacher Mrs Cresswell nee Miss Huntley on Thursday. We will then be holding meet the teacher evenings, at 4.30 and 5.30.

Good Morning Year 4,

The children had an enjoyable week this week. They enjoyed the stem talk about the rocket the UK will be launching from Cornwall. Thanks to everyone who attended the parents meeting I am sure you are all very proud of your children. This week, the children wrote interesting stories about a boy named Arthur who goes on an adventure. 

Project

For your project this half term I would like you to write a story about friendship for children in the school. The story should describe a conflict between a group of friends that is resolved. You can present this in any form you prefer. 

This is due Friday 8th July 2022

Potters Bar Museum

On the Thursday 14th July 2022 the children will be walking to Potters Bar Museum in the Wyllyots Centre. The children will be accompanied by Mrs Stevenson and I. This visit will help us to learn more about the history of Potters Bar.

Design and technology: Design a game that uses an electrical current.

RE: To identify how Christianity teaches us to live a good life. 

Please can the children bring in some cardboard for their DT project. This cardboard needs to be easy to manipulate for the children so, the thinner the better!
