Good Afternoon Year 4,
We have welcomed the snow this week on the lead up to Christmas but it has made our week a little trickier. We have had a fun filled day today full of singing and cooking! I hope you enjoy your soup!
This week, the children had the opportunity to meet Jack Wilshere and ask him some questions. They enjoyed the experience of having a footballer to learn from.
Next week
English – We will be finishing off Mr Wuffles.
Maths – We will be solving word problems.
RE - We will be exploring the Christmas Trinity.

Good Afternoon Year 4,
Thank you for all the donations for Save the Children, the children had a fantastic day dressing up and eating a wonderful Christmas Dinner.
We have worked hard this week on making compound sentences as well as securing speech. The children enjoyed using speech in their writing. In maths, the children have worked well to convert time measures. They have also learnt to convert mass measures.
Next week
English – We will be writing a non chronological report.
Maths – We will be calculating with measures.
Science - We will be constructing food chains on a computer.
DT - We will be cooking soup. Children will be provided with ingredients. All soups will be vegetarian.
RE - We will be exploring the Christmas Trinity

Thank you all for your donations for our Christmas hampers please ensure you buy lots of tickets as there are some fantastic prizes. The children had an enjoyable week testing different watercolours and learning all about converting length. They have also began to infer our new book Mr. Wuffles.
