Good afternoon,

It was lovely to see so many of you this week during our open afternoon and again at the mini marathon event at Oakmere School. Thank you for taking the time to come along—it really means a lot to the children (and to us!) to share these special moments with you.

We’ve had a wonderful final day at school before the break, made even better by the fantastic weather! The children enjoyed spending time outside and ending the half term on such a high note.

Over the break, I’ve set up a little TT Rockstars competition to keep the children’s maths minds ticking and to help boost their confidence ahead of the National Multiplication Checks, which will take place in the first couple of weeks back after half term. I’ve explained to the children how the competition will work, but please do encourage them to log on and have a go whenever they have a spare moment. A little bit of practice here and there can make a big difference!
