Good Afternoon and a Happy End of Term,

We had a fantastic week,  performing 'The Pirates Of The Curry Bean!' It has been a full on half term but extremely enjoyable. A big well done to all of the Year 4 children!

In Maths, this week we have been working on finding equivalent fractions. The children would benefit from practicing this further at home.

I wish you all the best over the break and hope that you have an enjoyable, restful time.

Good Afternoon Year 4,

Another week filled with fun and learning. Maths day was filled with fun exciting maths learning. This week the children have written their chapters, 'Down the Rabbit Hole'. They have used some imaginative language and ideas. We definitely have some budding authors.

PGL

On Thursday 16th March we will be leaving promptly at 7am. The children are encouraged to arrive at 6:50 to begin loading the coach.

Please remember the children will need to bring their own bedding (pillow and sleeping bag/duvet) as well as clothes, spare shoes and warm clothing.

The weather at present is looking to be showery and cold so please ensure the children have warm clothing that is waterproof where possible.

The children will be taking part in an activity as soon as we arrive so please ensure they are dressed and ready from the morning. Lunch will be available when we arrive.

If the children require medication while we are away, please ensure a medical form has been filled out and the medication is provided in the correct box with the doctors instructions or original leaflet.

Once again, it is important the children are able to carry their belongings and locate their clothing easily so please pack with your children.

For any children who are not coming to PGL they are expected to attend school as normal. They will be taught by Mrs Ameen in the Year 3 classroom. They will need to go straight there on Thursday morning and this is where they will also be dismissed.
