Hello Year Four,
This week has seen us finishing lots of projects. We have completed our work on The Amazon Rainforest as the children compared the land use to that of our local woods. We were able to create a bar chart using the information from our questionnaires. The children then used the bar chart to answer questions.
We have completed our project on birds and the children found that the most common bird in our local area was a blackbird.
The children had a fabulous time on the walk and took many photos!
Spring Two
I will send more details of the topics and projects we will be working on next half-term.
Church Visit
On Tuesday 27th February we will be going to Christ Church as they will be providing a morning of activities and learning related to places of worship (which we are currently studying in RE.)
Holiday Homework
I have given every child a spelling and times table sheet for them to work on in the holidays. Some children still need to complete their home project on skyscrapers and some children have got geography they need to complete.
